About A Lewis & Sons (Willenhall) Ltd

A Lewis was founded in 1920 by Arthur Lewis a Master Locksmith from Willenhall. his first premises were a large outbuilding behind the family home in the town. He was joined by his eldest son Leslie in 1922 who soon became a Master Locksmith also. In 1947 the company of A Lewis & Sons (Willenhall) Ltd continuing to manufacture high quality Brass cabinet locks. It was in 1955 Granville the elder son of Leslie joined the company and was followed by Terrence his youngest son in 1962 and both became high quality locksmiths in their own rights. James the elder son of Terrence joined the company in 1987 and so becoming the fourth generation to join the company. As times changed and demand for Brass locks declined we became suppliers of other leading brands of locks and are now one of the leading stockists for Lowe & Fletcher Ltd carrying a wide range of their products.
