About Blue River Psychology
Dr Lamba is the Founder and Director of Blue River Psychology Clinic. She is a fully qualified Counselling Psychologist, Chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). Dr Lamba has a diverse portfolio of skills and knowledge, having worked across a variety of clinical settings, including the NHS, higher education, voluntary/charitable organisations and the private sector. She has extensive experience of working with people with mild, moderate and complex mental health difficulties, with having worked in various community mental health teams in the NHS. She also has experience of working in clinical health psychology and is aware of the psychological issues involved in the management of chronic diseases and other health issues. Currently Dr Lamba specialises in eating disorders within the NHS. She has trained in various therapeutic approaches including psychodynamic, CBT and Person-Centred Therapy.
