Coincraft – Britain's Coin Shop is a family firm operating since 1955. We are based in London and have a shop at 45 Great Russell Street, right across the street from the British Museum and we have been at this location since 1976. The shop is open from 9:30 until 17:00 Monday to Friday, no appointment necessary. As members of numismatic and trade associations, we are governed by their rules and regulations. We are members of the Professional Numismatic Guild (PNG), a member for 37 years, and one of only six members outside the United States. American Numismatic Association (ANA), Professional Currency Dealers Association (PCDA), Antiquity Dealers Association (ADA), International Banknote Society (IBNS) to name but a few. We are dedicated to serving collectors all over the world. We sell British Coins, World Coins, Ancient Coins, Banknotes, Cheques & Bonds, Medals & Medallions, Antiquities, and Books. Coincraft only deals with collectors, we do not sell anything as an investment! Coincraft deals with collectors, dealers, promoters and anyone who is interested in coins, banknotes and antiquities. Some of the largest promotions in the United Kingdom have come through Coincraft, one way or the other. We are proud that we provide, original coins, properly graded and priced on the current market. There is no way that we can always been the cheapest, but we do provide value for money. Many of our purchases are so large that we can offer coins for far less than a mint originally sold them for. We have dealers who try to buy coins off our price lists, but collectors always come first! At sometime in the future when you stop collecting, we hope that we will have the opportunity to make an offer on your collection. In order to offer coins and banknotes to our collectors, we need to buy! Every day dealers come into our offices and offer us coins for sale. They know, as do collectors, that if we agree a price, payment will be immediate. We also buy everything, not just the cream. Many dealers will only make an offer for a small part of the coins that you want to sell, thus leaving you with the less pieces to sell elsewhere. Coincraft buys everything and we will make an offer on a lot no matter how small or large. Over the years Coincraft has bought treasure ships, bank hoards, accumulations, collections and just about everything. At the shop and on our website you will find a good range of coins, banknotes, ancient coins, medallions, antiquities and books available to buy.
