Robinswood (Frensham Trout Fishery) with its 6 lakes situated on the Surrey / Hampshire borders, in a wooded valley, well away from the hustle & bustle. Drive along the winding track for 1/4 mile - you first come to Kingfisher Lake. The waterfall goes into Whitmore Vale Stream (full of wild brownies). Continue 200 yards up into the car park adjacent to 'The Nest' (wooden clubhouse) with a vista of Robins Lake, some 2 acres of crystal clear water. On one side 'ancient woodland' lines the banks, & on the opposite side carefully tended grass & walkways, leading to picnic areas, bbq area with seating. Across the dam leads to Willow Pool. When you start to wander you will arrive at Meadow Pool & Heron Lake at the top of the valley (a very tranquil spot). Well known for DRY FLY & NYMPH fishing Robinswood is a wandering place! Stop for a chat with fishermen, Whether you fish for 'Wild Browns' or hard fighting Rainbow / Brown Trout - Robinswood is the place for you!
