About Hearing and Sight Solutions

Hearing and Sight Solutions provides training to care staff who support people with a combination of sight problems and hearing loss - deafblind people. This includes one day awareness seminars as well as short courses leading to qualifications in communicating and guiding with deafblind people and training in identifying and assessing deafblind people. All of our courses match the requirements of the Care Act 2014 and the statutory guidance "Care and Support for Deafblind Children and Adults". Our training will be of use to Social Workers, Care Managers, Personal Assistants and Support Workers as well as nursing and support staff in residential and nursing homes. Support staff who wish to qualify as a Communicator Guide will benefit from our 100% pass rate for this qualification.
