About Jolodd

The founder considered that the sale of children's wear (one of the products that "Jolodd" trades in) is a natural progression from the manufacture of ladies' clothing. In addition, the founder's wide business experience, encouraged the idea of creating an on-line business in the U.K. with the aim of branching out into Continental Europe and eventually into the Arabian Gulf countries. The philosophy behind this enterprise, as conceived by the founder, is to help the clothing and other industries by encouraging the release of branded stock from previous seasons, so that it is in turn, channeled to the general public through the "Jolodd" website at much lower than normal recommended retail prices. This two-fold effect has the ultimate aim of encouraging the production of new lines of children's products, including clothing, that benefits not only families with children, but also society at large, by creating more opportunities for employment.
