About Maddison Accountancy

We started in 2002 when I purchased 2 caravans and had trouble finding the correct accounting for caravan hire. Having taken early retirement as an accountant, I decided that this would be a good niche market in which to work and have been successful in offering my services. I have obtained significant refunds for all my caravan hirer clients since then some running into £000's. I also offer start-up companies cheap accounting, linked to their turnover, using cloud based accounting programmes, which enable the client to keep up to date with their accountants on computers, laptops, tablets and even their smart phones. As I appreciate that overheads can make businesses unprofitable, I am prepared to offer my fees as 1% of turnover in the early years but would expect to recover my normal fees as soon as that 1% exceeds my standard fee. I would, of course, expect the client to sign a contract to remain with me until my standard fee is recovered.
