About Marvis Stewart MBACP (Registered) Counselling Services

I am a fully qualified Humanistic Gestalt Counsellor with experience in counselling individuals, students, young children/adults, trainee counsellors and transgender clients. I offer short and long term therapy. In my private practice, I see adults from all walks of life. Counselling is about having space, a moment, for yourself where you can be as honest as you can with... yourself. My job is to listen to you, to facilitate your self-awareness and understanding. My counselling approach focuses in the here-and-now understanding how our past has an impact on our present. I speak English, Spanish and Italian. I welcome clients from other backgrounds and nationalities. CPD (Continuous Professional Development) is an essential aspect of my professional development. Some of my most recent CPD-Keeping Children Safe in Education -Working with children/adolescents who self-harm -Addiction Awareness.
