About Melanie Young Holistic and Complementary Therapist

Where does my story begin? Well, I guess it began when I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. It's been a very long road to get to this point & has taken a lot of soul searching, research & trying out various medical & non-medical treatments. I looked more in-depth into Holistic therapy's & began a Swedish massage Level 3 qualification. Although massage therapy is currently my area of expertise, I do intend to go on and qualify in other therapies. I have learnt so much, not just through the qualification but through living every minute of the day with a medical condition that debilitates you & that no one understands. My hope is that I can bring this life experience to the therapy's that I provide you, with a knowledgeable, and understanding empathy, no matter what your needs are. The power of touch is truly an amazing therapy in its self. So, whether you just want to relax, de-stress or need a healing hand to help make you feel better - I am your therapist, I'm here and ready to help.
