About Mentalhealth-Training
As a qualified MHFA trainer, I deliver both Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid courses including the newly adapted Online 2 day Adult Mental Health First Aider. I hold qualifications in Counselling and Psychology and in addition to facilitating training, I am a qualified Life Coach, working to help people re-discover their values and find a more fulfilling life. On a voluntary basis I have supported, over many years, and continue to support, a number of people who are experiencing mental ill health. I am an experienced Trainer: I taught the IEHO Basic Food Hygiene Certificate for many years and have also written and delivered many courses around the subject of supporting older people. I am passionate about improving support for people who have mental health issues and I feel that the MHFA course is a great way to make improvements in this area, by teaching people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis.
