About Monkey Island Publishing

We are unique in that the partners in Monkey Island Publishing are the creative talent. Based in North Yorkshire, we have a range of books from pre-school ages through to Dystopian fiction for Young Adults. Our Angel Small books tell the Christmas story in a unique and beautifully illustrated style. Unique because there is also a musical Nativity version for schools, written by Karen. Unique because Karen and Gill were commissioned by the Archbishop of York's Trust to write the creative for their Leadership programme for Key Stage One pupils. Launched in 2019 the programme dovetails into the National Curriculum and operates in schools Nationwide. Our books are now distributed in South Africa, Singapore and Australia. Karen and Gill carry out Schools visits and Workshops and have developed material for Virtual visits and online school meetings due to the Covid pandemic. Five titles are particularly suitable for the faith sector.
