Professor Michael Hanna provides a private neurology service for brain injuries and other neurological disorders. With a wealth of experience in dealing with all aspects of neurological disorders including the most severe brain injuries, Professor Michael Hanna tailors his approach to the individual needs of every patient with the aim of delivering the best solution and outcome. Professor Michael Hanna is a Senior Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), in London. Since becoming a consultant in 1998, he has he has personally assessed and treated over 20000 patients with a wide range of differing neurological diseases. This hands-on experience spanning over 20 years, has enabled him to gain extensive clinical knowledge, resulting in Professor Michael Hanna being one of the leading neurological consultants in the UK. As well as working at the NHNN, Michael Hanna is also Professor in Clinical Neurology at the UCL Institute of Neurology and in recent years has raised over £21m for research to find treatments for patients. He has published over 400 research articles in learned journals and book chapters. Michael Hanna's private practice is based across North and Central London and offers neurology out-patient clinics, as well as acute neurology in-patient care and neuro-rehabilitation clinical care. His practice includes general neurology in outpatient clinics. He also undertakes acute neurology inpatient care and neuro-rehabilitation clinical care.
