About Simpson Physiotherapy

I am an expert neuro-physiotherapist who specialises in the treatment of people who suffer from an illness affecting the brain, spinal cord or nervous system, for example: a stroke or brain injury, multiple sclerosis (MS) and CIDP, Parkinson's Disease (PD), Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis, and many others. I use therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and assistive technologies to maximise the recovery of function following a acute event (e.g. stroke or brain haemorrhage) or following a flare up of a long term condition, e.g. MS. I also specialise in the physiotherapy treatment of conditions affecting the older adult, for example, rehabilitation of balance and walking / mobility, falls prevention, post-operative knee and hip replacement surgery, assessment for walking aids.
