Introduction to SESS Established in 1987 by Philip Pinel, Storage Equipment Safety Service Ltd (SESS) stands out as the only completely independent, professional rack safety inspection company covering the UK, Ireland, and Europe. Our expertise focuses solely on safety, which consequently allows us to offer a unique service. Each of our rack safety inspectors brings many years of experience in the storage equipment industry. Furthermore, we conduct all our rack safety inspections in accordance with BS EN 15635:2008. Memberships and Certifications Additionally, SESS is a respected member of the Storage Equipment Manufacturer’s Association (SEMA) and holds individual membership with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Since September 1990, we have maintained quality standards, initially under BS 5750 Part 2 and now ISO 9001:2015, Certificate No FS 10668. Moreover, we have successfully been re-assessed since then. Similarly, in Ireland, rack safety inspections are regulated under the Safety, Health & Welfare Act 2005.
