In 2006, tastecard was founded and revolutionised the dining industry. Noticing a dip in revenue mid-week at his own bar, our CEO Matt Turner set his sights on changing the pattern thousands of hospitality businesses faced. The aim was to bring restaurants more customers and customers an affordable lifestyle, all with the help of dining discounts. So, tastecard began. We started out with a handful of London restaurants in tow, each one offering 2 for 1 meals or 50% off food to customers. And it was a roaring success. Rolling out our product across the rest of the nation, we’re now the UK’s biggest dining club and have thousands of big name and independent restaurants onboard offering the same delicious discounts. Off the back of our discount dining success, we soon turned our hand to other offers. Adding cinema, attraction, pizza delivery, movie rental and online discounts, we became more than just food. And now a household name, we have over 2 million members onboard, with helping out businesses and people still nestled in everything we do.
