About The Association for Somatic Moving & Dancing Therapies

Uniting practitioners across The United Kingdom & Éire We provide a centralized regulatory body and an up-to-date registry of practitioners across the United Kingdom & Éire. Our organization was established after the advent of COVID-19 when it became apparent there was no legislative voice representing the field with the government. You can currently study dance and somatics at MA and PhD Level in UK and Éire universities, as well as train on a number of excellent training programs. Our organization provides a regulatory body, bridging education and industry. Sign up to access to our events and training days calendar. Members of the association are invited to attend many of these events at a reduced rate.
