About The Nick Rayns LCR, UEA

The LCR is a live music venue and nightclub situated in on the campus of the University of East Anglia and run by the Union of UEA Students. As well as attracting some of the world's top bands, The LCR also plays host to two weekly club nights and a number of special events such as balls, which are held for the University's student population. Dating back over 30 years, the LCR has played host to acts such as U2, Manic Street Preachers, Kasabian, Faithless, Stereophonics, Duran Duran, Eurythmics, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Iron Maiden, Coldplay, Robbie Williams who performed his first post-Take That gig on their stage, and many more.
