About True North Lodge

True North Lodge is centrally located for day trips to here, there and everywhere! We are situated 25 miles north of Fort William - The Outdoor Capital of Scotland. Ten miles to the north of True North Lodge takes you to Fort Augustus and the start of Loch Ness. Nessie sightings not guaranteed! 35 miles further takes you to Inverness. Beyond that is the Wild Northern Scotland of your dreams! Glencoe is less than an hour by car to the South while South West we have Oban and the gateway to the Isles via Calmac Ferries. Directly West will take you to Morvern, Ardnamurchan, Knoydart and onwards to the Misty Isle of Skye. And last but not least head East to Aviemore, Strathspey and the mighty Cairngorms National Park. The village of Invergarry is a 5 minute drive away with a small shop and off-license at the Petrol Station. Fort Augustus is 10-15 minutes away and is a wee town which has an assortment of local shops, pubs and a Londis supermarket.
