With the growing trend in wood as a serving medium purpleOAKdesign have focused on the front of house catering market where the need of quality, durable and prestigious serving products became obvious. With growing demand for British products rather than Far Eastern imports, all our wooden products are made in our rural workshop on the Somerset / Dorset border, using traditional skills and methods. Each product is designed in-house, with particular attention to details to ensure functionality, practicality and style. There are few things in life that we can truly say we need - they are food, water and air. Because of this we all eat almost as a matter of habit 3 times a day. A good deal of time is spent in preparing food that is healthy, wholesome and nourishing. We passionately believe though that however exquisite the meal be may be, however it has been lovingly prepared, if it is not presented correctly the effort will have been in vain. IWe believe presentation is very important.
